AI, or Artificial Intelligence, is the field of computer science focused on creating systems that can perform tasks that normally require human intelligence.
These tasks can include:
Understanding language (like you and I are doing now)
Recognizing images and patterns (like facial recognition)
Making decisions (like recommending what to watch on Netflix)
Learning from data (like predicting the weather or stock prices) At its core, AI works by:
1. Collecting data → Information from text, images, sensors, etc.
2. Processing & learning → Using algorithms (often machine learning or deep learning) to find patterns in that data.
3. Making predictions or actions → Outputting results, decisions, or generating new content.
Think of AI as a “very fast learner” — it can’t think like a human in the emotional sense, but it can process huge amounts of information and find patterns far faster than we can.
